After the podcast episodes with the founder of Branch Basics (here too) and Darin Olien the DMs about what we use in our home have been through the roof. Actually, they have. I’m not just saying that.
In this post I’ve listed out all the non-toxic products we use in our home from laundry and cleaning to makeup and body care, plus brands I love for my kids.
Without further ado, here we go.
Your Non-Toxic Product Guide
First off, let’s just start with Branch Basics (SKINNY for 15% off). If this whole idea of making your home non-toxic is overwhelming, trust me I get it. My number one tip is to start with Branch Basics. Just get the starter kit (I like the glass bottles) and it literally replaces every single cleaning product in your home.
Another good tip that you’ll learn from this podcast episode, is that when you’re going non-toxic, focus on what you take away, not add in. You don’t need to go buy all new non-toxic products (lots of it is ‘greenwashing’ anyways). Instead focus on removing fragrance, parabens, phthalates, you get it. But I’m serious when I say, the only first step you need to take is getting Branch Basics. They’ve recently even launched a gel handsoap and minis, so if you’re not ready for a starter pack, you can grab the mini to try them out. Everything Branch Basics is my favorite, but I’ve also put some other options below for you.

Babyganics all-purpose surface wipes
non-toxic candles by The Skinny Confidential, Taja, Primally Pure or plain beeswax
The Skinny Confidential x Canopy mold-inhibiting diffuser (more here)
Air Doctor air purifier and Jaspr (code SKINNY)
Outdoors: we use Get Sunday on our lawn. You can use code SKINNY2O for 20% off.

CLEANING:
Again, Branch Basics (SKINNY for 15% off)
Osea (use code PINKSEAWEED for 10% off)
K’Pure Naturals Settle Down Spray and Sweet Babe oil (I also like to use their oils in my diffuser) (code LAURYN for 15% off)
Primally Pure (code SKINNY for 15% off)
For all other body care products I love Agent Nateur. From the body oil to the face serum, to the deodorant I’m in love almost everything they do (use code SKINNY for 15% off).
Dr. Dennis Gross lip treatment, peel pads, moisture cushion
Yina face masks and balm
Merit Makeup (love the bronzer and highlighter)
Flamingo Estate shampoo and conditioner
rosemary oil and scalp massager for hair growth

Wellnesse toothpaste (SKINNY for 15% off)
mouth tape (stalk the benefits here)
+ be sure to stalk this post on how to MEW too.
We rotate on things here but some non-toxic brands I like are:

Hi Lauryn! Loveee your podcast! It’s been life changing as I’m a new listener as of 2 months. What non toxic toilet paper do you recommend? I seriously value your opinion.
Also, my mom has been obsessed with this non toxic brand Norwex, Norwegian brand I believe. But they have so many options from cleaning, skin care, etc. I’d love to know your thought on it though? Maybe favorites of yours?
That is great.

What toilet paper? I’ve been thinking of switching that over next.
Thoughts on Dirty Labs laundry detergent? Looking to switch to non-toxic, and people say that it’s more effective than Molly’s Suds because of the enzymes. Also desperately searching for a showerhead and point of use water filter!
Can you post the hair gel for kids?
