I mean, obviously it’s empowering to connect with women who are ambitious, beautiful, & nice ( << really, though, it’s so important to be NICE…people forget about nice! It’s like, hello!! Nice is underrated ). So when I connect with Sazan, who possesses all three traits + more, I knew had to interview her- immediately.

<> Tell us about yourself:
Sazan Barzani: I’m a southern girl with big hair, a big heart and even bigger dreams! I am a full-time fashion & beauty blogger, host, & stylist chasing the dream in Los Angeles, California. I’m originally from Texas ( born in the south ) but my roots are Kurdish & Russian.
Currently I’m producing & hosting a new online talk show coming soon ( stay tuned )! I love being able to show women through my work that they can be their own stylists when it comes to all things fashion, hair & beauty.
<> Quick skinny tips or tricks?
SB: You’re gonna hate me when I say, but I’m naturally a skinny girl ( << I love girls who own this! ). Ha! I’ve always been very petite at 5’2 so gaining weight has always been a challenge. However, I try not to eat whatever I want.
I recommend everyone to live a very active lifestyle ( which my job definitely requires! ) and try to incorporate a work out in your diet at least two to three times a week ( even if it’s a ten minute floor workout ).
<> Weekly workout schedule?
SB: Lately, I’ve been working non-stop sixteen hour days so I haven’t been able to get in my workout groove. When business starts slowing down a bit, I’ll probably get back to my three days a week workout routine. Think: one mile run ( cardio ) followed by a ten minute floor workout which consists of jumping lunges, planks, squats, & stretch exercises.
SB: Since moving to LA, I’ve totally jumped on the juicing band wagon. I love a good green smoothie with kale, spinach, lemon, pear, & apple!
<> Can’t-live-without beauty product?
SB: YSL’s Touche Eclat ‘Radiant Touch Stick’! It also works as a concealer…Ub-sessed ( << need ASAP ).
<> A lil secret model tip?
SB: Know/practice your good side! This makes you naturally more comfortable when you’re posing for a picture instead of trying to figure out how to angle yourself.
<> Natural beauty remedy:
SB: Whole Foods carries this AMAZING Aztec Indian Healing Clay powder that you mix with apple cider vinegar & it turns into a mask for your face &/or body. I use it at least once a week; it gets rid of annoying black heads & makes your skin so soft. I swear by it!

SB: Make breakfast ( as of recently ) & have quiet time on my patio for thirty min. It’s the only “me time” break I really get throughout the busy day.
