[ A late, late breakfast ]
From Venice, we headed to Ibiza- known as the best party city in the world! Between it’s insane DJ line-ups [ Tiësto ! ], the clear blue water, breathtaking beaches, & Pacha, the four story nightclub, it definitely was the craziest part of our Europe trip.
In Ibiza, it’s typical to wake up at 11 am & go to bed at 3 am. The sun goes down at 8:30 pm- so different, but so fun. We took a boat to Formentera Island & there was a tiny bar that made the freshest ginger mojitos. Swimming back to the boat with plastic cups of mojitos in hand, was a huge highlight of the trip.
Recommendations from my Ibiza experience: Formentera Island is a must! It’s too beautiful to miss. Whether or not you’re into nightclubs, make a trip to see Pacha- it’s crazy. The food is very Americanized, so you can’t go wrong with eggs, fruit, soups, salads, veggie plates, grilled chicken, & their delicious aioli sauce on crackers. Since we were in bathing suits most of the time, the amazing gym at The Gran Hotel was the perfect way to start the day. Ahhh, I miss it already…pure relaxation!!
